Construction & finish

Made in the USA, the Cockpit USA Spitfire B-3 uses the same American-sourced sheepskin as Cockpit USA’s classic RAF model. The lighter desert tan fur contrasts with the brown natural leather shell and was chosen to minimize visible discoloration from dirt and oils.

How the finish ages: As the jacket wears, the leatherized sheepskin panels distress to a suede finish, developing a weathered, battle-worn appearance over time. The darker tan fur camouflages everyday wear patterns that show more visibly on standard brown or black shearling.
